Have you been to a ballroom dance before? As with most things, there are some guidelines to follow to keep things moving. After all, you want to make new friends–not be an obstacle to the dancers!
Think of the ballroom as a race track with couples running counter clockwise. Experienced couples are hugging the outside lane so they can take bigger steps and execute more and faster turns. The inside lanes are better for beginners or people wishing to take a more leisurely path.
