Latin Beginning Series

Sundays, January 3rd—February 7th, 6:30 — 7:30 PM
Latin Partner Dance Sampler (All Levels)

Experience the passion of Latin Partner Dancing! This class will cover the basics of Rumba, Cha Cha, and Salsa! Warm up this winter with the spice and energy that Latin Dances bring!

West Coast Swing Series

Fridays, January 8th—February 12th, 6:30 — 7:30 PM
West Coast Swing (Beginner/Beginner Plus)
at the Ankeny Street Studio; 975 SE Sandy Blvd., PDX
Learn the basics of this fun and playful dance. It can be danced to many styles of music including; Pop, CW, Hip-Hop, Blues and many more. Get ready for dancing the West Coast Swing at Stomptown!

We switch to Sunday nights as we continue to develop our skills with interesting patterns in this playful dance.

Waltz Series

Valentine Tango Workshop

One must pre-register for this workshop; send me an email that you’d like to attend this workshop. There is a class minimum of 8 people. If there’s not enough people the workshop will be cancelled. Discover the pleasant addiction of Tango in this introduction to all things Tango!—$20 for 2 hours of Tango

Private Lessons

Private instruction is also available for those who wish to go beyond the level of the group classes. Private lessons are also great as a supplement to group instruction. With individualized attention you can focus on your specific dancing needs while learning at your own pace.

Daniel Hutchison hosts and DJ’s this wonderful night of LGBTQ dancing. Enjoy a lesson and an evening of your favorite Country Western music, upstairs at the Norse Hall. The lesson starts about 7:00 PM with a review of a popular line dance. Then we’ll transition into Country Western 2-Step (intermediate) and finish the lesson with 2-Step for beginners. The dance starts at 8:00 PM.

  • Norse Hall Sign and Door$ 10 per person, includes everything:
  • 7 pm, both Line & Country-Western 2-Step dance lessons
  • 8:00 – 11:00 PM, dancing
  • stompin’ good DJ’d CW music
