Country 101 – New Year, New Moves!

WEATHER UPDATE: Do to winter weather conditions tonight’s ending “Country 101 & 2-Step” class has been cancelled.

The Stomptown LGBTQ Country Dance at Norse Hall on Saturday 2/8 has also been cancelled.

Fridays, January 6th – February 7th, 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM
at the Ankeny St. Studio, 9th & SE Ankeny

Country 101

We’ll start by learning some line dances as we “warm up” each Friday. Then we’ll focus on Country 2-Step to go with our favorite country and western music. Beginners will love the easy and fun basic steps. More advanced students will be pleased with the complexity of more difficult steps and routines. If people are interested, we can also cover some of the patterns in Country Waltz. Bring a friend or we will match you up with a dance partner. Everyone is welcome!

$60 for six classes (per person)
$15 for a drop in (per person)

We’re dancing upstairs in the Lodge Room at the Norse Hall. The dance floor is bigger than at the PPAA or Ankeny St. Studio.
